Explanations and Clarifications
(To purchase a copy of the book, click here.)
The pictures in Explanations and Clarifications are fictional assemblages of graphic elements derived from found images and pictures I have created myself, which can be either photographs or computer generated graphics. Each picture has a theme which is reinforced by visual logic. I wish the viewer to approach these as if found while walking down the street. If one finds the experience of trying to decipher them enjoyable, so much the better.
Backgrounds are my own photographs. Besides my art work, composited source material is derived from several sources, including the New York Public Library Digital Collection, early 20th Century text books and US Patent Office patent pictures. The QR codes do work and relate to the images. Click on the picture to go forward.
